NEON ZEON is an emerging Progressive Black Death Metal outfit in Ludwigshafen, Germany making heavy, original music that’s destined to create an incredible legacy of innovation and rage. The band uses 8-string guitars, complex technical playing, strong melodies, blast beats, cinematic hooks, and acoustic guitar textures to write songs that stand apart from their peers and maintain a formidable identity. Influenced by metal icons like Meshuggah, Metallica, Mayhem, NEON ZEON knows what it takes to get Metal fans up and moving and does it in an artistic way that never compromises the group’s vision. 
 

Band members Skadi (vocals), Fernst (drums), Lepra (bass), and Joe Amped (guitars) are all veteran musicians who have been in bands including Azrael’s Seed, Aethernal, Geaest, Sartynine, Kurushimu, Forlorn Hope, Beaty Hardy, Orgasmodemon, and Perish Sanity. They have appeared with major acts like Biohazard, Satyricon, Kreator, Arch Enemy on tour or at festivals like Legacy Open Air in Germany.
 

As NEON ZEON, the four musicians are currently recording new vocals tracks for the new album FIRESTARTER. They have already released a self-titled debut effort NEON ZEON in 2020 and a second record ASTRAL BLISS earlier in 2021. Their sound has been compared to Meshuggah, Voivod, but is much too expansive and expressive to be described in such simple terms. To really get it, you have to experience it firsthand.
